The way consumers are now choosing products and services is driving substantial change in the way businesses view sustainability. Sustainability has gone mainstream. A recent forecast by the respected business reporting company IBISWorld, highlighted that the fastest growing market segment across all segments was organic farming, tipped to grow by 15.1% in 2010 - 2011. This is no accident. Consumers, especially mothers with young children are demanding transparency across a broad range of product and service categories.
