Background:

The Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) is one of Australia's leading NGOs in the development of workable conservation strategies. We have worked with the ACF on various projects over the years including the development of communication collateral for Al Gore's visit in 2009. On this occasion the ACF asked us to assist in the development of a brochure to raise awareness of marine parks.

The Brief:

The ACF's brief was simple. Create a stunning piece of communication that would both educate and motivate stakeholders and other groups. Importantly the device had to be visually engaging, but not at the cost of the written content.
A balance between visual and copy (text) content was required.

How We Helped:

We believe less is more, and we also believe that a picture can tell a thousand words. Importantly we understand the needs of the client to tell a complete story, so it was important that we used the copy in a way to complement the images, and vice versa. Needless to say our client was very happy.

  • We were asked to name the brochure, we called it "Its time to think deep"
  • The brochure is 20-pages full colour printed on recycled material
  • It was created in our studio using InDesign over a few weeks
  • All images are licensed
